Last night was the first of a five show tour with Aerosmith, and what a fantastic way to kick it all off!

Diva Demolition are ready to rock. In fact we’ve never been this ready. We are rehearsed. Our bags are packed (with lots of warm clothes) and we’re very very excited! Yesterday we leave for Dunedin, New Zealand for a massive gig with AEROSMITH! Can you believe it?! Not to mention the other excellent bands on the bill, a NZ band “Head Like a Hole”, our label mates “The Dead Daisies” and the sensational “Wolfmother”. We traveled by private jet with the sexy men of The Dead Daisies, and that in itself is a massive thrill. We are looking forward to getting up close and personal with the boys, especially Jon and bass player Marco!

We will be rocking tonight in remembrance of the amazing Chrissy Amphlett. The news of her passing has saddened us deeply. She has been an inspiration to all female rock chicks, especially me (Kylie) and is undeniably the greatest female singer Australia has ever seen. Our hearts and sympathy goes to Charley Drayton, Little Patti and her family and friends. I can honestly say she is my greatest musical inspiration, and will continue to be so.

We were in Sydney for the last couple of days, we drove the 12 hours from Brisbane on Sunday, but it wasn’t until yesterday we rehearsed with our Toy Boys, Zac and Ricky. We ran through the set a couple of times… brilliant. Zac has been a bit crook, but he is all good now, managing to fight off a head cold and didn’t skip a beat. Ricky (as always) was in fine form. We even managed to crank out another brand new tune, as well as warm up on the Divinyls classic “Pleasure and Pain”.

Our song Diva Disease (which we wrote rehearsing for the Kiss Tour) is out NOW on iTunes! This song is great fun and I encourage you all to check it out. For those of you (and we know there are many) who would prefer to consume music via CD, hang in there. Soon your wishes will come true!
